I love the rollovers. I sat there running the mouse cursor across them for a good 30 seconds.

Nice...

...quality work. Most would half mind some of those sites on their own portfolio I'm sure. Very good stuff.

bag and d*d: you think I should just have the old static logo back in then?

I just thought I should stick some instant, obvious jazz in there to wet up the promoters pants when they come to the site. I get alot of work through other promoters coming to my site from other eflyers so thought should stick something on.

You not think thats a good idea?

Just for the record, I too think that you should revert to the previous logo.
There is enough jazz in your work to not need messing with your logo.

Leave it there Top Buzz

Designers aren't promoters - you are selling flash skills not logo design. I love it even if looking at it for too long enduced a flashback

I like it, it's relevent to what you do. Keep it- why have a static identity when you are a flash designer?

Keep it targeted, if you get promoters coming to your site looking for jazzy flash stuff - then the moving logo is justified. Possibly you could combine the best of both, make the logo do a couple of rotations then settle, and make it only work on rollover from that point on

liking the spinning effect, though I'd like it better if the logo exactly matched up at the end of each spin.

completely loving the rollovers.

Great portfolio. simple, effective. Damn you!

I like I like.

Just an idea, was your concept for the spinning logo layers, designed to resemble a deck? Nice. Just another idea, but could fuck it up and make it a lot more complicated to achieve, could you use your mouse to interact with it, spin, scratch it and all that dj stuff?

Could be a bit cheesy, but could be quality if done right? (just an idea)

soory.
it just looks like a mess.

it really needs to "come together" after revolving.

make it spin then bring it to a gradual stop, like when you turn a 1210 off
