Branding for a New Lounge....

Yo, it's been a while since I've posted anything, but I'm looking for some opinions from some of the more experienced folk. The club is looking to be launching around Oct. 21 (most likely will be the 28th the way the contractors are going right now), and I'm currently working on developing all their non-video stuff. I'm in a bit of a disagreement with the promotions manager atm over the invite though. I tried to develop the invite along the same guidelines that I developed the business card and dinner certificate (both attached as well), but he wants to scrap the guidelines for the invite and put the text center-aligned as is traditional for invites, and I was wondering what y'all thought.

In addition, there is going to be major text revisions done because I know the copy is quite shite as it is right now, just needed something in there to fill the space until I get the final wording. And the lovely Ms. Beckinsale will be replaced by a shot of the club when it's finished renovations.

In addition I'm taking comments and critiques on all the designs if you feel so obliged.

very nice I have to say. Love the colours. Admittedly the text is quite small at the bottom but the font itself doesnt look bad

The invite (middle) feels a bit off and I think it's due to the picture of the woman. The spacing of the different elements is basically the same on each - but that picture seems to throw off the balance of the rest of the invite.

I like them, though.

Love the design, like the colours but text it not very easily read... 'THE BANK' especially.

I prefer the middle design out of them all and the image of the woman bottem left probably has something to do with that, one she is pretty but two, it gives something to an otherwise quite plain design.

pgo: I'll look into it, this was the dimension they gave me for the certificate though, and it's just too big for such a small bit of text. I'll revisit the certificate though.

cantona: that's what I was thinking, just going to have to try to sell the bastard on it now... *sigh*

Thnx for the comments and critiques, I'll be posting more stuff to this thread as it gets developed.

Cheers.
