thanks for the GCSE remark!(and i understand) i know it looks kid-like... but have you had a look at any Chinese design lately! http://www.onatoko.com http://www.997metroshowbiz.com ... i wanted the Typeface to be childlike and fun. the colour is bright and very in tradition of the Incipid colours they have in their everyday lifes... with regards to advertising...(kitsch is that the word) and i wanted to keep it simple. and... its a pet food/toy shop. Maybe gcse is what i sould be looking for...? |

Yeah, it has potential. Don't mind the colours, or the cheeky form and shape. But I don't think it's much like the "chinese design" that you talk about. The visuals in those sites are still structured in some loose way. Saying that though, The "cheeky HK style" has always seemed like a poor man's "japanese" design to me. Almost but not quite there... Try sourcing some good japanese design and go from there... Perhaps I'm pigeonholing each nation... but bah... Also Try customising a different font... That's a free one right? - I've seen it in a lot of places, and it's never been used well... |

I think its not too bad... but I feel that you are overusing that font. Maybe just keep 'pet' in the gimmick font and change 'the, buffet' to something more stylish. Also think about repositioning the word 'the' |
