I´m having trouble getting the image borders to show right under firefox.

Nice, visually. But remove those w3 buttons. They look like shit.
Don't know what to say about the image borders, I think it's the code. Although you have gone through the trouble of doing the site without tables, it's still HTML 4.01 Transitional. Do it with xHTML, clean the code, drop all classes/divs that are unnecessary, etc, etc, etc...

Looks good.

Only problems I see are the small text and the content column may be a bit small compared to the other two. In some ways, it looks more like a blog than a portfolio.

agree with emil about the w3 images - why not colour code them to your site? But the site looks good. My only complaint would be that its all a bit lopsided (the length of the right column) but it doesnt detract too much from the design
