Flash/3D New SITE!!!!

Just went live. How does it work for everyone? I used Flash MX, Poser & Swift 3D.

Looks like the skills are there, but the final product hasnt turned out that well.

Works fine on Safari here but Im not posh enough to get Tiger yet. Looks like it could do with changing some of the neo blues on black (very windows 95) for something a little more reasonable.

the 3d transition effects are cool, but the design of the site lets it down

agree with previous posts... the site lets the flash work down totally, colour combinations are really bad and not good for the eyes having to focus that hard to see if you're missing something. I'd hate to be looking at it on a shit screen

the basis is there, i would re-think the colour scheme. It looks like the high contrast accessibility version of a site.

I agree with past comments regarding the contrast problem and also complement on your 3d work. It is very good.

My main concern is the loading of your flash movie at the start. It does seam to take a while and I'm on 2MB Broadband... Just thinking of those poor users down on 56k... You might want to look into loading each movie separately for each link.. Just a thought.

Thanks everyone - appreciate the feedback

I've been working on recasting the site with a few upgrades.

When I saw 'poser' as your 3D package I was ready to run a mile, but I think you have used it really well. As everyone else mentioned, its quite dark, I had some trouble seeing it properly on my TFT, and the nav button design feels really flat.

With a few tweaks this could kick arse though.

dark may be OK as long as it doesn't have contrast issue; dark gives the look and feel of insomnia.

+ Nav bar/ buttons: too simple compared to all of the things you can do with flash.
+ Color: different colors for lower half [another shade of blue if you decide blue/ black is the way to go]

Don't know why the flash doesn't load anymore on my computer after several times in and out of the site, maybe it's just my computer.
