Hello,

I finished my degree this summer and am now looking for a job as a junior designer. I've just re-done my site and would like to know your thoughts and give me your expert opinions!

I really like some of the work but I think the site is abit crap.

You have loooooooads of room to show your work off, but its all scaled down into teeny weeny thumbnails.

I don't think it needed to be made in flash either.

Site doesn't really impress, but like Narate said the work is good.

can't read what it says so I don't know what to click, guess I have to trust pgo and narate on your works.

anyway the site is kind of bland and I think it does not justify the flash-only approach.

very hard to read on a 1600 res monitor and like Narate said no need to be done in flash. Great illustrations tho esp the BDB one

Great stuff... Illustrations are really nice. Is that the direction you plan to head into? Perhaps you should tailor your site in a more illustrative way, showcasing your style on initial impact.
But obviously you've got a simple site and that works nicely too. Legibility is fine on 1152 x 870. Whether you've done it in flash or not.

Good luck on the job hunting front!

I like some of your work but im not that keen on your site, sorry. Change your fonts and get a splash of colour in it

I hear what your saying on that it dosent really need to be in flash, but i'm still a beginner on the web side of things and flash is all i know.

Narate, will take that on board, i agree, the work could be bigger!

MikeTC, cheers for the comments, I love the illustration side of things but not to sure on how to take it further and make money from it, so for the moment its something I do on the side.

Top_buzz, glad you found the freebies, well done!! Yeah a font change and some colour would be good i guess, will try and get round to it when i've some spare time.
