Hi all

Please can you let me know what you think of my new website

www.thepetcemetary.com

It allows you to create a virtual grave for your deceased pet, and post messages on others graves. I had never seen a proffesional version of this idea and thought that it could be popular.

Ive had various comments good and bad mainly about the bright colours not really being right for this type of site, but i think it needs to relate to young people more than anyone, let me know what you think!

Iam also having some serious trouble promoting it as its been up for a few weeks now and only has 23 memebers lol, i'd be greatful if anyone has any ideas?

That's a bit fucking wierd, a "virtual" grave for pets. Anything like graves (virtual or otherwise but virtual in particular), hats, clothes etc. etc. for pets I think is a bit odd.

Wow. That's twisted. The color scheme makes it even more disturbing.

Design's not bad, overall. I don't think the colors are appropriate at all. The coding is b-b-b-bad to the bone.

Not sure if you were seeking design critique, but overall the site looks solid.

One comment - the header image with the "dead" dog and cat is unintentionally hilarious. The animals look as though their lives were passing right in front of their eyes while they ascend into a heaven filled with bottomless bowls of Sheba and Mighty Dog. It also appears as though has a holy aura emanating from the dog's head.

I'd recommend reworking that image. Make "ThePetCemetary.Com" slightly larger, and try putting it in white, for emphasis. I'd use different photos, and make the dog and cat a bit larger. If this is too detailed a critique I apologize. Nothing worse than total strangers pretending that they're paying clients or something.

Did you do the coding also? I can't even approach the level of functionality you've got going on.
