Hi all, id like some feedback for http://www.graphicstalk.info also im working on a banner i want to keep it clean and simple but yet i feel somehow something is missing but not sure what, any input would be great, thxs ![]() |

dont need the background gradient at all - just keep it as one colour, preferably not a dark one. Way too much going on in the banner section of the page - its hard to know whats what. And, did you nick the icons from somewhere - they look familiar |

I would softent the 'metal' gradient backgrounds on the category headers and behind the banner. I think they are too strong. I'd also like to see more padding/margins within the main bulk of the design as it looks a little clutterred for my taste. |

i really apericate this site, i love how everyone is so frank, and cut through the bull when it comes to design, many graphics forums i go on just say good, not bad, like it, etc... which is not very helpfull, i hope GraphicsTalk becomes to have the same sort comments as this i can understand what your saying about the grads, i want the design to by bold and interesting but yet i dont want it to have a tacky look to it... back to the drawing board |

ok What would you do for a dark theme, cos i really dont want to do a light themed forum design as there are so many of them around i want to try a different approache |
