What is the best technique for indexing a new site in google?

I have been using social bookmarking with good success, but I was wondering what everyone else is doing.

check out the google webmaster tools, and add a sitemap.

here is a big secret. find a site and page with the most traffic as possible. Then post on this page. The search engines loves websites with fresh content.

The reason is that the search spiders will be constantly hitting these pages looking for changes. If it finds one, then it will log it. If it sees a site that has not been indexed, then it will index it.

Sure the number one sites for traffic are yahoo & google and you will argue that you cannot get listed on these sites. Or news type sites. But one of those top sites is Craigslist! Bingo. find a category that is relevant (like computers/creative) and post on a topic about what you do and make sure to include links in your post. The search engine will come and then spider your post and link. Bingo, your in.

You can do this on several sites and also you can use Google webmaster tools to create a site map. Also, you can add google adsense to force the google media bot to come by and notice that you are not indexed. All methods that will get you spidered very quickly, within the week.

I have some trick to share. You can create some blog on google's blogspot and post your url on that blog. Google bot alway index this kind of website within 2-4 days. Cheers.
