"Finding beauty in the dissonance" I know what dissonant means lol. Can you elaborate? What do you mean a wall of text? I noticed in flash when you chose to publish an html file with your swf it produces a lot of unnecessary text. Is that what your suggesting i do? Also how would I format it? Did anyone check my site? What do you think? Also, whats peoples opinion of 100% flash websites? |

No idea what fucked up dictionary you are using, but dissonant to everyone else means: 1. disagreeing or harsh in sound; discordant. 2. out of harmony; incongruous; at variance. Brilliant word to sum up your design. unconsolidated isoparms

I severely doubt his reading comprehension abilities. He's using the same dictionary as us, but he doesn't understand that the phrase "finding beauty in the dissonance" means that while something might not be aesthetically or superficially beautiful, it has an inner beauty. "Inner beauty" doesn't work in the design world. I guess for a website that would be, "It looks like shit, isn't user friendly or accessible, but the quality of code is decent." Unfortunately, the website in question has neither outer beauty nor inner beauty, so I guess the name fits. Wall of text = learn to use your return key. Search engines cannot index Flash. Sorry. 100% Flash sites are terrible in every conceivable way about 99% of the time (top_buzz's work excluded, of course). |

Well I can clearly see I came to the wrong website for professional advice. This turned into a topic about my name, which is irrelevant, unless you wanted to talk about the one thing i actually asked about which was "is it okay to use the same name as someone else". Not "hey what do you think of my name". To be honest I dont give a fuck what anyone thinks of my name or my comprehension of semantics. I asked for help from knowledgeable people where are they? Can we please stay ON TOPIC, and get some actual designers to answer the questions at hand. |

On topic, you're a cunt. To be remotely useful, the "wall of text" comment was in reference to your original post. It's continual text and is incredibly difficult to read, and most people simply won't bother. Paragraphs were invented for a reason. |

For christ's sake use the bloody return key and make some paragraphs. Your site is sub par and search engines are not going to be able to index the content stored within your flash file. Good luck with any decent rankings. |

Generally you should avoid to make flash based websites because of several reasons: 1. Very unsecure for users 2. Hard to get Seo properly (almost zero tolerance for SEF). You should make all the pages, which exist in flash, in html (& keywords & meta) and than to tell Search engines to follow those html pages while the users don't know about html pages... 3. Your possible customers can be "warned" by their browsers to install flash etc etc For CD presentation yes, but for the website, nice but no. |

I am glad someone actually tried to answer my questions. For all you trolls out there just posting nonsense and retarded answers wasting space stop trying to help you don't know shit. Hey dusty dickface wheres your website at? I didnt see one and i bet if you do got one it took you 3 years to make it and it sucks dick. I started learning web design last week and im already better than most of you feeble minded douche bag's. I will research and resolve my own issues because unlike all of you trolls i actually know something and have a brain. Make way for the future make way for flash. Ill be sure to look down upon you from the top of google fuckin ugly pedo fags. |
