Not sure this is exactly what you're after, but I use GoogleAlert.

Use it to monitor the top slots on a range of searches.
Not as useful as it was before my sites fall from (google's) grace only to be replaced by link pools and ad-word carrying portals (boo! hisss!).

(I don't even come in top for New Plastic Arts anymore, despite having the domain, the title and the h1 tag. Stuck behind two forum links back to me, one of the DT, the other SPf. Fekkin G eejits. S'all gone to sh*t.)

These are in my favourites if any of 'em help. As a side note, Oli or mods, it might be useful to start some pinned threads of FAQs or useful resources for certain forums. Just a thought.

wouldn't it be great if there was like, a links page too? and we could have links on it, not a 404!

I might go start a poll to see who would use it if it was incorporated into the new design.

Fwiw, the Urchin 5 web-stats package enables you to run some pretty slick 'campaign' keyword monitoring.
Considerably more than your stated £100 budget, but there's (presumably) no harm in trying out the 15 day free trial.
Could be a good investment for a medium+ company which is serious about SEO.
