How can I get more links to my website to show up on Google SERP.

Hi guys,

I have looking at the links that link back to my website from various search engines and I can't understand something. Google, is the best search engine, but it only shows that 4 sites link back to mine... I have at least 50 different sites pointing back to my site and other search engines pick that info up except Google. Even my own company website doesn't come up in the linkback list provided be Google and I have placed the link there personally 2 years ago!!!

Do you know why this is happening? Is there something that I can do to help boost by linkbacks in Google SERP?

Cheers to all!

Perhaps you need to wait a bit until Google do an update, or crawl the sites with your link on. I would recommend taking a look at Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics.

I have had links to my site on sites for more than 3 years and google still hasn't seen them, whereas Yahoo! see all the sites that link to me, even sites I added my link to just last week.

Cheers!

Google don't shows you all the backlinks for your site if you want to get exact number of your links you can try different tools/sites as backlinkwatch.com, seochat.com and iwebtool or else you can link operator at yahoo, it will give you wider results.

You can have better links status idea by visiting the links page in your Google webmasters tools panel.

Yeah, Google webmaster is a good resource but it will give details for your sites only not for other sites

Google is not showing all the links pointing to your site. As previously mentioned - if you use Google's Webmaster Tools and you check the "Pages with external links" section - you'll find the much more links.
