Image Replacement and SEO
hello. so, your <h1> is an image, lets say, a logo: ![]() would you be allowed to have your <h1> read thus: <h1>Designer's Talk - Web design forums for designers to website design</h1> is this bad practice, likely to get a site black listed, or (as i believe) offering a true text alternative representation of the missing graphical element. how far can you take it? cheers,. |

SE's cannot read images or css so you can use this to fool them as much as you like. You can even get away with hiding some text - if you place it over a background image of the same colour and specify the background image using css - much like the use of images in headers. I have seen excellent results in google using a few of these black hat tricks. What the SE's don't know can't hurt you |
