Submit your site to 11,928 search engines?!

Are there any sites that submit your site to multiple search engines at once that are worth using, for pure convenience and time saving?

I've alway been of the opinion that once you've entered your details into these sorts of site, that your site is destined for the BOTTOM of the search listings and your inbox will be subject to ever growing amounts of spam for the rest of time.

But surely there must be some useful ones? Even if it's just a few.

Cheers,
Chris.

(BTW - I saw an add offering to submit you to 600,000 sites today - do that many worthwhile SE/Directories exist? What is the benefit of submitting to more than the top 10-20-30?)

Dont even bother mate, Just concentrate on getting a good google rank.
All those shite ones wont send any traffic, even some larger ones like lycos hardly send any traffic.
Google, Yahoo, Msn are the only decent ones.

And trying to get into DMOZ.org can't hurt, either.

Dmoz is really nice one. I think you should add your site to as many directories with high PR as you can and I also suggest link exchange to good PR sites that also easy to improve you site search engine ranking.
