Dude seriously?!!
|
I have used hidden text on a few of the pages of my site. I think that I was banned. What can I besides stop hiding text? And does anybody know how long does the ban last and how do I get included after some time? Does anyone have any experience with such things? Also, besides hidden links is there another way to make the spiders follow links which are made with Java Script and look bad if I don't use it? Thanks in advance |

Haha. Serves you right for trying to trick Yahoo. I have no idea how long it will last - if it isn't permanent. I've never done anything against the rules, so I wouldn't know. Ask Yahoo! - they'll know. If you want spiders to follow your links, try using HTML to create links. Not JavaScript. If you're unwilling to write clean, semantic HTML, you can never expect to get decent rankings. And if you hide text and/or links - you can expect to get blacklisted (and you'll deserve it). |

Well I think you are right and I feel sorry but this doesn't change anything. I am new to SEO, I started learning strategies only two months ago and I think that this is just a lesson everyone has to learn at some point. Black hat SEO never helps you... just makes you loose all the work you have done so far. I hope anyone thinking of not playing by the rules will think twice after reading this reply.I deserve my punishment and I am going to take it whether I like it or not. |
