I use Arelis for finding link partners and sometimes use IBP from Axandra for position reports and page analysis.

I personally wouldn't waste the joining fee. All of the advice and research you need is free online anyway.

Do a Google on some keywords like: Search Engine Optimisation, SEO etc.... and see how many of those companies are SEMPO circle members...

I believe results are a better judge of a company rather than a $5,000 112x27 pixel badge.

Well I know. I'm certainly going to dedicate the rest of my career to improving the overall standard of the web, if a client doesn't want web standards then I may not design for them.
