They kill people. Tide/Tidal Path? The guide through the turning tides of the web...or something (god, I hate writing tag lines and that nonsense)...too bad tidepath.com/tidalpath.com is taken by shitbrick domain squatters. I think I like the word "path" too. Tidal path is better, no? |

I've always thought that if you have to tell people your creative, you probably aren't! same goes for using words like 'designs' 'websites' and other obvious that people decided to put into their urls. something original / catchy is far more likely to be memorable. however don't fall into the trap of using any words that can be spelt in various ways or are hard to spell at all. made that mistake myself! |

Fair point! but I was referring to 'bobswebsitedesign' and things of that nature! Designers Republic works because it's memorable and not over-descriptive. |

I would actually think that the majority of design professionals attach their names to their products. Last name more often than not. And calling a company "_______ Creative" isn't telling people that you're creative, it's simply saying that you provide creative services. |

If you changed your name and got a suitably named business partner, you could call yourselves "Flow & Eddie"... How about Creative Flow? EbbCreative, Wave Creative, Outboard Creative (as in outboard motor - "Been left up the creek without a paddle? Should've gone with Outboard"), Rapid Creations, Clearwater Creative, Ripple Creative (Raspberry Ripples, god I loved them). Torrential Creative, BPID Creative (Bloody Pissing Down Creative) etc ... God, Thursday's TV is shite. I'm off to the pub. |

Spoke to a marketing guy and asked his opinion of "Tidal/Tide Path/Span" - which are the variations I'm still stuck on. He said he liked just "Tidal" and doesn't think it sounds destructive as tides are the natural "ebb & flow" of the oceans. |

Our survey said... If you say "tidal" - word association stylee - I bet most people say wave. And what's the natural ebb and flow of the ocean got to do with your business anyway? I think you've spent too much time on this and now you're lost. Got a logo for you though: http://www.stormtothecape.co.uk |
