Some how yes! because Alexa is being affected by organic traffic a lot. If you don't getting adequate organic traffic to the website then the Alexa will definitely increase. Referral and Direct traffic don't have much impact on Alexa I think. |

Alexa ranking depends how many traffics to your site. The top ten of alexa ranking maybe we know : (1 to 10) Facebook, Google, YouTube, Yahoo!, Baidu (china's google), Wikipedia, Amazon, QQ.com (china's CNN), Windows Live, Taobao.com (china's amazone). ... and then we know, why those sites have good ranking on alexa ! |
