Silly gimmick... in what is metal a superior material to card/light plastic for the purpose of a business card other than to stand out? Screams of style over substance to me, I wouldn't be impressed if someone handed me one. |

my brother had those when he ran a gallery... very snazzy with etched and die cut bits... but everyone you give the cards out too ends up slicing their hands with them, which is not good. Last edited by Do Gooder : 18-03-2008 at 07:23. |

some like it hot
What an ides! metalic business cards. Forget them on your dashboard in a hot day and they'll become very hot business cards!!! Turn them over to a convict and they'll become a cold weapon. Stuck in the middle of nowhere without a knife to spread some butter on your bread and rhere you are! you have it! stuck in the middle nowhere and an airplane will appear in the horizon - signal to the pilot using sun beams. Wow, I can sit here and think about so many useful things to do with a metalic business card. |

I run etchstar.com. If people are interested in bulk orders, we have a price sheet. yes, metal business cards have lots of uses beyond their marketing and promotional value. they never get thrown away, for one. people feel bad! we do wood business cards too, we'll have pictures up soon. if you are a designer and want to get in touch about using our laser for cool projects, particularly if you're in LA, reach out. artist@etchstar.com is the best place to get us. Best, Ben etchstar.com |

metal and wood
we ship to the UK for sure. Sometimes foreign credit cards dont past muster on our site (we use authorize.net), but we can take paypal if it's an issue, or have you fax us a credit card authorization form. shipping is generally $50 more than the listed shipping prices Taxes are not our specialty, they get billed to you. I'd not expect them to be obscene, they are about L40 on an expensive iPod. feel free to email help@etchstar.com for a faster response in the future. |
