Hi I've been working on a basic top 100 site top100links.info that gives links to the 100 best things I could find on the web for four different categories.

It's a very simple html site that I've created as a bit of a trial to test out the host I'm using and a few other things.

But now that I've nearly finished it (just need about another 25 links for the Free Downloads section) and it's been live a few weeks, I've been thinking that I might as well have a crack at making it good and getting it ranked, if nothing else because I've ended up spending bloody ages finding the links for it.

Just wondered if anyone could give me a bit of advice in regards to increasing my rank in Google and in time getting a good page rank.

I know that everyone always says that it's about the number of inbound links to the site so is there any way to increase this quickly.

Are there any other things that I should be doing?

Any advice would be appreciated

PR is about how popular you are so link backs are the best way to improve it!

Make the content light hearted and have great pictures and that's it! Just about.

Also keyword matters and your site content

You could also try joining social media sites...

pr is based on the number and quality of the links pointing to your site. get more links, especially quality ones, and your pr will go up!

To increase pagerank the key is to increase your backlinks.

So get linking
