Need help with advertising.
I could use some advice on advertising free on the web. I've read some of the posts on here that advocate posting in forums, but it seems that everytime I put anything to do with my site on a forum, it gets deleted for spamming!! Sometimes all I'm doing is answering a question for crying out loud and ZZZAP, I'm deleted or banned!! So.....This may not be up for long if history repeats itself. A little about my site: The Website Builder is an integrated web solution created for independent professionals like, doctors, attorneys, musicians, models , and small businesses like restaurants, salons etc. The Website Builder brings together different aspects which are needed to put a professional site together. You can sign up for a single package that includes, a) Domain Registration b) Website Hosting c) Website Builder My question (at long last) is where would it be appropriate to look for free exposure and advertising that won't get me blackballed all over the internet??? How do others advertise their sites?? I'm afraid to include a link for fear of this getting bounced as well, but will do so with the request that if the Moderator finds this offensive in any way...please remove the link and not the entire post. I would appreciate that. ultimateflashbuilder.com |

You have a very impressive product there but I'm afraid that you're just going to have to go through the long, slow, difficult slog of getting recognition that everyone else has to go through. I also offer website construction but have found that everyone who wants one already has one and those who have shitty sites don't want to pay to upgrade them because they can do it themselves. Hence 95% of Finnish companies have a website and over half of those look the same as when they were first created in about 1996. Take a look at my local New Business promotion society for an example of 2007 Finnish design. keuke.fi/etusivu.asp The idiots don't even reply to my emails about renewing their site! So much for supporting local small businesses. But if you discover a good way to get good exposure for free, do tell us! |

I recommend that you put your site in your signature (forums that allow you too). I had some success with that. Also market your website on craigslist. Spending a little money on flyers and handing them out at business networking get togethers really pay off. Hope that helps. Chanel. |
