It's a simple, great idea - he's spinning off the publicity that he'd already generated, the technology is the same and he's guaranteed to make another mil.

I guess he's hiring designers because he can afford to. Why work when you can sit on your arse and watch the money roll in?

I find the technology boring beyond belief, but the idea that you can take such a simple idea and with the right marketting make a fortune, should be a lesson to us all.

When I checked it this morning it was 84k - now 92k.
Looks like he's gonna do it again, good on him I say.

There really is very little original here, he isn't the first to reward people for clicking on adverts, do people trust such schemes anymore since they have been done to death - also the pixel idea, there were sooo many crappy spinoffs and this is another one.

It is a spin off, but it's done by the same guy. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6199898.stm

He's guaranteed to make a million because he's got articles like that in the media.

Exactly. It's not amazingly original, but based on the huge media coverage of TMDH, he's bound to get it filled pretty quickly by all the people who missed out last time.
Made me laugh to see the pixel ad spin-offs that are buying ads on his site, he's even created his own market.

Don't think it will run forever, but it doesn't need to make alex another small fortune!

I see this concept being widely abused before long, it was a nice novel idea but now anyone in it for the money will use the easy way in : copy something that has been proven to work... instead of finding some great novel idea...

Hey peeps, Before calling him a bastard... Read the How it works

The winner wins $1mil... Great for the winner... But there's a $1mil spare. If you read that $1mil goes to a charity that the winner nominates.

So the guy is not making money directly from this. He's actually doing something good this time! He should be supported!

Ok yes he will probably make some money from the interest on the advert money but hey...

No.
He pockets a million, a random winner also gets a million.
The winner will also get to nominate a charity of their choice to receive $100,000.
