Link Referals? Do they work? Interested?
Im trying to get more traffic to my website and read on the google guidelines that it is somewhat based on the amount of inbound traffic coming to your website from other relative sites? anyway in short im looking to perhaps start a link referral relationship with a few other sites, anyone interested? http://www.geenius.co.uk, this is my site for reference. cheers! |

Backlinks are only useful if the linking sites have relevant contents. If one site sells furniture and the other site sells cars, linking between the 2 sites won't be of much help. If one site sells new cars and the other sells motorcycles, linking them should help. |

You are absolutely right mpls-web-design, IMO also reciprocal linking is bad, since no SE likes it. But I have also seen that for link exchanged between related websites are getting more value. So if you want to start the link referral program, then at first you will have to fix the type of web sites with whom you are interested for it. It will succeed, since I know many people are there who want to get links. Just you will have to promote your program in a right direction. Cheers |

A bit of a dangerous territory for me I think. A Graphic Designer linking to another Graphic Designer. Perhaps when you design i.e website for your clients you could get them to have a link to your website. |
