Help with Ecards!
I've landed a project to produce on-line ecards for a chain of comedy stores which are to be personalised with a message, sender and recipient info etc etc. Has anyone here had any experience with these before? And anyone willing to quote and work with me on the project? PM me if poss. Last edited by sub : 07-10-2005 at 07:01. |

I'm looking for a way to let people personalise a card online and send it to their granny or something. Had a hunt around and found popsoft.info, looks like it'll be fairly simple to set up but not sure how professional the finished product will be. Any suggestions. |

If you can get someone to design it, I can code it dead easily. Two or three days work max. |

Fairly simply.. just the same way you'd generate an HTML page on the server, with asp/php/.net - your server side language of choice. form to get the details - generate the code that'd make up the email. You'd then make a server call to create the email with attachments (ie. the images that make up the card) unless the images were to be stored on the server, then your email would just contain links to the images stored on the server. Send the email. job done. Roughly, anyway. |
