Network
I would also recommend attending networking events - try business network international (BNI) - this is a weekly breakfast meeting where you get to give a one minute pitch on your business, hand out your business cards, and network with other small business owners. Also I would recommend contacting Business Link - you maybe able to get on their list of recommended suppliers. And why not try and get free newspaper editorial (pr) when you win a contract however big or small, write a short press release and send it to all your local newspapers - it might just get published = free credible exposure. |

The Business Link and press release is great advice. You don't need to pay to advertise if you work hard coming up with ideas like this. I would always recommend keeping all your customers happy, keep them up to date with any new services or offers you have (maybe through a newsletter). This way you increase the chance of getting repeat business + they will remember to mention you to friends. Good Luck |
