You can make audio sprites too, just to make you despise sprites even more.

Me too. Made it to level 4 by frequently bashing the keyboard.

Come on =P It's peasy until level 10.

Oddly enough I think adding the slow juice makes it harder, takes a while till you figure out when to use it and when to let go.

I just fluked to level 20, took me a while to get the hang of 'slow juice.'

Some Particle Tests
WASD move, SPACE to shoot.

Just a random test with art / particles. The bullets are a bit weird though.

I'm guessing the pixelated look to the ship is on purpose? The explosions are quite nice! I can see liking this one better than the first (assuming you do something with it) I suck at those games just like ian.

Nice that the ship moves diagonally, a lot of these things get stuck on two key presses.

I don't know what I'm going to end up doing for my first 'real' test.

Doing some physics tests at the moment. Might end up doing something physics based for it, as it doesn't really require a lot of graphic work. Explosions and stuff like that don't really take especially long.

Is there any site in particular you're using to figure this out?

I haven't really looked but I don't think there's a good place to pick it all up.

I just search whenever I run into a problem / don't have a clue what to do.

I've never done much with canvas as all the maths involved is way over my head. I get too confused and frustrated when I try to figure something out as my brain simply won't comprehend what's wrong and why.

Argh fullscreen! Pretty though, canvas is quite good with blending modes.
