Receiving from a form

We've got a contact form that's been tested repeatedly with various sendto addresses. The script has been used successfully before so...

Why is the client still saying they don't receive anything from it?

cheers

I'd wager ignorance, perhaps with a slice of incompetence!

Other than that, you'd have to ask what kind of mail filtering they have in place, if any. Try cc'ing the data sent to their address to a test account you know works.

Might be easier to help if you could put your script up?

are you using the same server that you tested on? if not the server may not have the required components installed...

All being done on the same server.

When they first said it didn't work, we changed the sendto address to a few of our own (including a hotmail account) to test again and they all worked fine.
The original address had to be set up which they might have cocked that up, but the second address tried has been used to mail them, so we know that one does work.

Not sure about posting up the script. Think it's against company policy.

Cheers anyway.

I kinda guessed that's why you hadn't posted any code, but without it it's kind of hard to help without repeating the same general ideas. Let us know how it goes

I blame them - the clients. Fools.

It's a php script and their hosting is a bit odd - using a redirect or something.

If anyone knows about php and servers own up so I can harass you tomorrow. Thanks.
