PHP Gallery Software

Okay, so for a new site i'm creating i'm going to have a photography section and am currently looking for suggestions & recommendations as to a customisable php solution for this.

What I'll need is:
- Admin interface for maintenance
- Categories to seperate images logically
- Customisable formatting (ideally via CSS)
- xhtml compliant output

The one that seems to be getting offered to me most is Gallery, but from reading through the specification & documentation it doesn't appear to be customisable enough (can't change the default grid layout for example..).

So are there any (preferably open source) solutions out there, or am I just as well creating my own?

Thanks in advance & all that.

Visit hotscripts.com, they should have something suitable.

Don't know if your interested but you can have the one running at http://gallery.beseku.com if you want, free 'n' all.

Runs off the folder structure of the site.

Lemme know.

I've had a look around the scripting sites and so on and have decided i'm just going to roll my own, so to speak. If it turns out to be pretty useful i'll gpl it & post the link up here.
