so here's the story... i've got my website. it sits there. its kinda cool. lol. i've already got a basic php login system. you punch in oyour username and password. and it tells you that you logged in and all that fun stuff that login things do. BUT... i want to add a forum to the site; i've made forums before using miniBB and phpBB, but they all have their own seperate login database's. sooo... i was wonderin; can u make a forum that uses the login that i've already got on the site. so once their logegd in on the site, they are already logged into the forum once they click on it. so they wouldn't have to log in again... get it? lol i'm just after like. a DIY make your own forum kit or something lol. |

noooooo - i didn't mean that, people can view the site as a guest without logging in. i just meant so if they log in when there viewing the site, they wouldn't have to log in again to use the forum. doesn't matter anyway now... i found: [www].phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=499434 as difficult as it is to follow i'm going to give it a try. thanks for the help |
