Bluefish on Mac

anyone use bluefish editor on a mac? i tried to download and install it from fink, with no luck. does anyone have any advice? is it even worth it. i currently use Jedit for my web development editor. does anyone use any other open source editors that has ftp capabilities built in?

The best editor on a mac is TextMate. Its not open source or free but its worth every penny. Doesn't have built-in FTP support but is it really essential? If you use Transmit (also worth every penny) you can use TextMate to edit files live on the server (though thats not really something I advise).
