try oli's method. make an html page with the wmv embedded, then go to that page and go file > send > page by email

although when i just reid that, it said that the page contained frames (which it doesn't) so maybe you can't use that method to embed wmv's in a page. maybe that's where the issue lies?

why don't you link to a file on an external server? embedding objects to html emails is dodgy territory.

you can view it within the email, but you call the file from a webserver by direct uri rather than embedding it as an attachment when you send the email

nothing in the email is a attachment, it all comes from the server images from the clients server and the video comes from a streaming server. is this what you mean, sorry for been so stupid but it was a late night.

yeah. create the email as normal html page under html 3.2 conditions - be careful what code you use. place all images on a webserver and point all the paths to the web server by http - only if you are online will you be able to view the images - be sure to include alt tags for each image.

never tried to stream video into outlook. let me know if it works.

remember that there are abut 1500 different mail clients out there so its not going to work for everyone.

outside of the body tags include the whole copy of the email as plain text with line breaks so non html viewers can at least see the copy.

careful what you place in the body tag. it won't be read by everyone.
