anyone know php shop - if so - help!!

Hi i set up the shop on http://www.benhaywardcycles.com about 2 years ago, and it has been running smoothly ever since, then all of a sudden it comes up with:

Quote:
Warning: main(/home/benhaywa/etc/phpshop.cfg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/benhaywa/public_html/shop/index.php on line 19

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/benhaywa/etc/phpshop.cfg' (include_path='.:/home/benhaywa/etc') in /home/benhaywa/public_html/shop/index.php on line 19

when you click on the shop link - I cant figure it out - any help would be greatly appreciated...

im not really a PHP programmer, and my guy is AWOL, so im floundering a bit with this..

cheers guys

Mike

It could be that your host has updated the version of php on the server.

What's on line 19 and the surrounding lines?

Has anyone been changing any of the read/write/execute permissions on a folder?

From the quote above, the config files are in the etc folder - so I'd guess that changing the permissions isn't the best answer (if you mean to 777).

Have you looked at the readme / install instructions etc that you got with phpshop? Try checking the paths and permissions in that against your current setup.
