Nope! But I have used this in the past - don't know if it's what you're looking for

windows servers... been there!

in your header or external Jscript:

Quote:
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_findObj(n, d) { //v4.01
var p,i,x; if(!d) d=document; if((p=n.indexOf("?"))>0&&parent.frames.length) {
d=parent.frames[n.substring(p+1)].document; n=n.substring(0,p);}
if(!(x=d[n])&&d.all) x=d.all[n]; for (i=0;!x&&i<d.forms.length;i++) x=d.forms[i][n];
for(i=0;!x&&d.layers&&i<d.layers.length;i++) x=MM_findObj(n,d.layers[i].document);
if(!x && d.getElementById) x=d.getElementById(n); return x;
}

function MM_validateForm() { //v4.0
var i,p,q,nm,test,num,min,max,errors='',args=MM_valida teForm.arguments;
for (i=0; i<(args.length-2); i+=3) { test=args[i+2]; val=MM_findObj(args[i]);
if (val) { nm=val.name; if ((val=val.value)!="") {
if (test.indexOf('isEmail')!=-1) { p=val.indexOf('@');
if (p<1 || p==(val.length-1)) errors+='- '+nm+' must contain an e-mail address.\n';
} else if (test!='R') { num = parseFloat(val);
if (isNaN(val)) errors+='- '+nm+' must contain a number.\n';
if (test.indexOf('inRange') != -1) { p=test.indexOf(':');
min=test.substring(8,p); max=test.substring(p+1);
if (num<min || max<num) errors+='- '+nm+' must contain a number between '+min+' and '+max+'.\n';
} } } else if (test.charAt(0) == 'R') errors += '- '+nm+' is required.\n'; }
} if (errors) alert('The following error(s) occurred:\n'+errors);
document.MM_returnValue = (errors == '');
}
//-->
</script>

Form Code:

Quote:
<form name="form1" method="post" action="form_return.asp">
<p>Your Name:</p>
<input name="Name" type="text" id="Name" value="" size="45">
<p>Contact Number:</p>
<input name="Contact" type="text" id="Contact" value="" size="45">
<p>E-mail Address:</p>
<input name="Address" type="text" id="Address" value="" size="45">
<p>Your Message:</p>
<textarea name="Message" cols="38" rows="7" id="Message"></textarea>
<br>
<br>
<input type="submit" name="Submit2" value="Submit" onClick="MM_validateForm('Name','','R');return document.MM_returnValue">
<input type="reset" name="Reset2" value="Reset">
</form>

Asp script (external):
Quote:
<%@LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT"%>
<% Response.Buffer = True

strBody = strBody & "This e-mail was via the mysite website feedback form - Please do not reply to this message" &vbCrLf
strBody = strBody & "Name: " & Request("Name") &vbCrLf
strBody = strBody & "Contact Number: " & Request("Contact") &vbCrLf
strBody = strBody & "Email Address: " & Request("Address") &vbCrLf
strBody = strBody & "Message: " & Request("Message") &vbCrLf

If Request("Other_info") <> "" Then
strBody = strBody & "Other Info:" &vbCrLf
strBody = strBody & Request("Other_info") &vbCrLf
End If

Dim objCDO
Set objCDO = Server.CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail")
objCDO.From = "message@mysite.com"
objCDO.To = "me@mysite.com"
objCDO.CC = "him@mysite.com"
objCDO.Subject = "Mysite Website Feedback"
objCDO.Body = strBody
objCDO.Send()
Set objCDO = Nothing
Response.Redirect "email_sent.asp?Name=" & Request("Name")
%>

put this in a file called email_sent.asp:

Quote:
<%=Request("Name")%>

CDONTS is dead as a dodo. It was WInNT.

Use CDOSYS instead. I have a script in the office that kicks ass, I'll send it tommorow.

I have read that - but this seems to work fine for me on all the hard/software combos I have tested.

Would like to see good replacement, cheers Paul

Seems they kept it in the 2000 servers for backwards compat reasons (Ha! Microsoft backwards compatibility what a joke) , but CDOSYS handles queues and stuff better.
