Ok, here's a stupid question. Why is CMYK not CMYB?
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black........?

C'maaaan...make me feel like and idiot....

Cause it just doesn't sound right.

He's right. The blue from "RGB". So they had to go with something else.

True. RGB (red, green, blue), CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, key).

Now to really confuse you guys. CMYK is actually wrong. From a printing standpoint it is actually KCMY. Black is in the first ink unit, Cyan in the second and so on. K is very tacky and thus printed first. Yellow is the least tacky so it is printed last.

The K stands for Key and it goes on last. The cyan is second to last but different printers vary between printing yellow or magenta first.
