too right. it is the most annoying thing on the web right now. don't get me started, you will regret it. i really HATE (and that's a strong word that i do not use too often) amazon. i would like nothing better than to take their £3 and shove it up their MD's arse.

try and sell that on ebay and you'll get a lot of bids. innit.

like mr mikey says - magma is one i'd recommend, assuming you're after design type books (and they have those 'special' photography books you like too).

Anyway, you're in London you should pop in there and Zwemmers.

Brown,

Is your only aversion to amazon the fact that they use pop-up windows?? By that philosophy do you HATE every supermarket store for putting the sweets at the check-outs?

I think this runs a little deeper , no one would stop using the best book site on the net just cos of one popup - why not just run a pop up blocker ?

it is just that popup. its not changed in months. nothing more. i buy loads of stuff from amazon, but now i've had it with them. i'm going to find a new one and champion it all over the net. i alone shall bring about the fall of amazon.
