Sleeve Design
Hi there, Im currently writing up my dissertation on the future of sleeve design. I have 3 quick questions and would appreciate your time. Cheers What format do you prefer to buy music in? •CD •Vinyl •Mp3 •Other Sleeve Design is important. CD Agree Not purely, even with stuff like Lemonjelly, it was ultimately the music that made me buy the albums. |

CD Agree When I'm abroad I like to bring back musical memento's of my trip, so I tend to make purchases purely based on the sleeve - the stranger the better. So yes. ::: TC Magazine :::

there was a talk about this in manchester a few months ago, think everyone agreed that sleeve design will become less important than the artists logo that can be displayed in the i-tunes artwork box and in the small spaces on download sites. Though like vinyl, there will always be a market for cover design. |
