it seems to be a tutorial based mag with walk-throughs of projects. I found it all a bit simplistic and elementary so it might not suit somebody with a couple of years experience. Good for the beginner though. As part of my travels this week I went out and bought quite a few mags just to see where they are and found Grafik and Computer Arts Projects to be really good buys this month. They both featured a bunch of great work and interviews with Neville Brody and Peter Saville respectively. Well worth the money imo. Don't get sand on your ice cream...

It's actually really nice, high quality print/paper, well designed and full of pretty pictures. I think £7 is alright... don't know what the fuss is about magazine prices... I remember everyone stopped buying CreateOnline when they increased prices by a quid.... silly really, cos the mag went bust and now there's no equivalent. Design, yes... but Web Design, nothing. Oh and I shouldn't really slate Web Designer cos I think we have ads in it from next month, but I wouldn't bother myself - it's pretty novice. |
