Is print Pelican any good?
I want to print a small quantity of 11x17 trifold, maybe 200. I was checking online for printers and i found http://www.printpelican.com/ they do small quantities offset and ship to canada. But i requested samples from them and never got them. Did anybody used that company or could suggest one for me? |

Print Pelican - Terrible quality - even worse service
We have been dealing with an issue with Print Pelican and would not recommend them to anyone. The quality of their product was terrible, they forgot to include several key elements and when we went back to them to correct the problems they ignored us and eventually offered some very menial compensation. I believe it was $100 for about $40, 000 worth of damages. We phoned over 30 times and emailed just as often without response. They actually got angry with us at one point and told us they had spoke to us on the phone the day before when they hadn't. We followed up with the better business bureau and they had been reported 9 times in the past. |

they are indeed horrible. first of all, let me say that i am continuing to use them right now b/c the quality wasn't that awful (although it's not as good as some other products or samples i've gotten from other places like psprint.com)...AND they are the ONLY people who will print short run offset color for affordable prices. i have looked everywhere and cannot find people who will do "catalogs" or "booklets" for less than 400-500. HERE'S THE DEAL... (1) they are NEVER on time. (2) it may seem like they might have commitment to quality or customer service, but if you really check their website, THEY REALLY DON'T CLAIM TO CARE if you're satisfied with their service or not. (3) at first, it looks like they'll be good at communication b/c you get an automated email, BUT THEY ARE AWFUL. phone, email, whatever, they really don't care about their customers at all. in short, they're an awful company. check out their bbb report... |
