Letterhead question

Hey guys,

I'm sending a letterhead off to print that has a solid black on the reverse, my printer wants to put a sealer on it which is fair enough – but I've heard that when it goes through a laser printer, the sealer might warp the paper.

Anyone had any experience of this? I'm printing on Think4

Cheers

Laser printers put very high temperatures onto the paper surface - enough to melt the powdery ink into the surface of the paper. If the sealant doesn't cool as fast as the ink, which it is not designed to do, I think you will be driven to the verge of insanity by paper blockages.

there is stock out there that can cope with large solids for laser copiers but you have to pay for it - speak to a paper merchant - they'll point in the right direction.
