tokion
azure (nice canadian architecture mag)
ready-made
urbania (montreal design/artsy magazine)

anyone has anything to recomend for webdesign and that isn't one of those creepy macWordl "i'm making a homepage" tutorials?

The quarterly Design-in-Flight is the best you're gonna find I reckon. First issue's not until June though...

i think Computer Arts Projects is a lot more interesting than just the regular Computer Arts. They showcase a lot more designers and put the tutorials in context to real work. (i'd always buy both though)

just read my first copy of +81 as well and i really liked it. nice mix of international artists and i like the way each issue is targetted at a specific audience.

Grafik, Wallpaper*, Design Week and Campaign are the design orientated publications of choice.

I also read GQ, The Face and Evo. Picked up the first edition of The Word magazine yesterday and it looks quite good.

Slightly odd choice of title from the branding dept then, I'd say.

you're so metrosexual with your wallpaper and your gq. don't read them all at once or you'll end up having more prada turtlenecks then you can possibly imagine and a pedicure.

its a shame that the face is closing down.

i don,t like the look of word. it reminds of time except in cheap entertainment format (as if time wasn't for leisure ha!) mixed with british dark humour. monthy python meets nme.

That's fair enough. I don't exactly paint my finger nails but I like to look after myself. "Metrosexual" is a pretty broad description of someone. Is Prince Charles metrosexual because he takes meticulous pride in his appearance?

P.S. Wallpaper* was an interior design magazine the last time I looked
