Hello

I struggle with a problem of using three credit card logos (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro) on a flyer design for a Hotel in Brno. They want me to use the logos of the cards they accept but I can't find any of these in 300dpi resolution (and they of course can't provide them). Honestly I don't even know if it's legal or not. Anyway - has anyone of you had anything to do with these logos? I'd appreciate your help.

There are several options i guess :

- using the logos from the internet in 72dpi resolution (but I haven't got a slightest idea how it's going to look like after printing)
- finding these logos as dingbats or in solid resolution of 300dpi (but I haven't found them so far, so if you could possibly give me a link, it'd be very nice )
- asking the companies to provide their ready-to-print logos, which I find both unneccesary and nearly impossible.

Any ideas, please? Thank you in advance.

Asking the companies shouldn't be impossible if its for official usage, and all those companies expect their logos to be used everywhere. So use the press and media contacts on those sites and ask for them to be provided.

Anyway:
brands of the world has most of the major logos in illustrator EPS and AI formats however they don't include how they should be used, and when displaying the "card" icons/logos themselves they're usually different from the main identity.

edit - and both mastercard and maestro make their logos readily available and with instruction... look harder before asking maybe? :P

Thanks a lot! "Brands of the world" comes very useful! Yea, I might possibly spend half a day searching the internet or asking a question (and let somebody else do it ). No, I thought that there might be somebody who has the same problem right now or has a page like "brands of the world" in favorites, so he/she doesn't have to search for me. You didn't try mastercard's own site yourself was kinda my point... I didn't know they were there, I guessed and they were.

Sometimes Logotypes has European logos that I can't find anywhere else:
