RGB to 100% K

I have a client that has supplied me with a 300dpi BMP image of their logo.
Weirdly enough I've never had that before so I've come up against a small problem.

I've converted the image to CMYK and fixed the yellow and red in the image but I just can't get the black/text to change from (62%,62%,62%,100%) to (0%,0%,0%,100%).

Any hints?

Photoshop's Selective Color will do what you want. Might take two passes.
In Selective color, pick Black and pull the C M and Y thingies to the left.
