I am having to make a 3D pop up that would be an advertisment of some sort and placed in a envelope and mailed wherever. When the person recieves it, as soon as it is taken out it has to pop up in to a 3d form. Has anyone ever done this before? Examples?

in egland we have specific companies that create them, you just design to a template that they give you.

There is a company that I have used called Whitney Woods, if you email or phone them tey will send you a whole pack of samples for free and they include exactly what you are after, here is the link.

Whitney Woods are great, they tend to cover everything you can think of.

Beware of their sample pack, tends to make you jump a mile when you open it!

Another vote for Whitney Woods. Obviously it's all digitally printed on a unique stock, so make sure your colours are going to come out as desired with a proof or two.

Love getting the unexpected Whitney Woods package, always forget I am on their mailing list and open a normal looking package to then be hit by a flying box! Also great to use as pranks.

Am looking forward to something christmasy soon lol

I just got the box delivered the other day. Made me jump a fair bit. I've managed to get most of the office with it as well. Can't wait to get more stuff through the post.
