Converting To pure Key

Argh! it's happened again!

The printers are wanting me to convert my PSD to pure K with all black that's in the image. What's the best way of doing this? It's a large file so sending it to them is a no-go, and I can't ask them to talk me through the process because there's a language barrier. *headdesk*

Help! Pleeease!

what sort of image is it, don't understand why they want you to do that - just k gives a pretty crappy black, it's common to use a mix (like 50% cyan with it) to get a deeper black colour

No, unfortunately its an advert job so we have no choice in the printer. To be honest it suprised me seeing as we've had no problems in the past with any other printer/publisher, so although I was worrying that it could be me, you guys have put me at rest a bit. Cheers!
