silkscreen: are gradients possible?
This is probably a stupid question, but are gradients possible with silkscreening? Thanks Americans don't understand sarcasm.

No. You can try to get a gradient effect using halftone dots on one of the colours and overprinting. Or you could try a completely uncontrollable effect by mixing colours on the screen before squeegeeing. Not recommended! My free fonts www.utfi.net

I´ve done it when using a letterpress. Is gets damn messy and needs a lot of cleaning the rolling thingies (have no fucking idea how they are called in English) and the frames. Basically you are creating a gradient by hand. |

Getting ink all over everything is half the fun. It still turns up under your toenails months afterwards. My free fonts www.utfi.net
