Spot colour transparency

Iv used a 20% transparency on a spot colour, now when I print it on to my printer, some parts of the transparency comes out darker? I intend to send it to the printers and worried it will fuck up. Probably a simple answer...

Sorry im a tard.

Is the part that is coming out darker over another image or color? If so, your result of the two spot colors interacting with one another. If you export a PDF or save a PDF and view it in Acrobat, this should give you and accurate representation of what will come back from the printer.

If you have the file, I will be more the happy to take a look at it.

Ask your printer to produce a matchprint or wet proof.

it's always a gamble when using spot transparency. you never know what's gonna happen.

Cheers all. I asked for a proof and looked alright thankfully. I'll remember to avoid transparencys in the future though!
