I feel like I have got to the point where I am stuck to know what else to learn although I know theres much more out there.

Steer clear of anything by Flanders and other twatty, bald-head 'gurus'.
It's not big and it's not clever. But mostly, it's not big.

I've wanted to shoot Flanders in the head ever since he wrote something about the point of the net is making money.
Deserves a good kicking on principle.

Are you more interested in reading up on 'design' techniques or 'building' techiniques?

It's always a good idea to get your head around an 'information architecture' title once in a while if only to help grow your understanding of dealing with ever larger amounts of information.

Other than that, go for a book that expands your knowledge about back-end technology/techniques or takes your knowledge right up to the edge on stuff like CSS.

mainly want a design book, I have been teaching myself web design sence I finished my a-levels a few years back, only problem is that I havent got a designer above me in the compnay I work for, so i dont know if I am doing it right or what stuff I am missing out, I had a read of "dont make me think" got some good points from that, and have a quick look through jakob nielsens book from time to time, just want something that will inspire me with new techinques etc. The reviews on the Son of Web Pages That Suck by Vincent Flanders at amazon have been really good, lots of plus stuff. Had a look at the topics on the see inside this book bit and the topics seem intresting.
