Hi all, Just a quick question. Ive previously made very simple logos before and have always used macromedia fireworks however now i need to create a leaflet in both a4 and a5 size. What is the recommended software for this?? Im looking at basing the leaflet on this nike webpage. football Im designing a football leaflet for a leaugue we are looking at starting, ive had a fiddle with macromedia fireworks however the design is so complex god only knows how ill do it, surely there is an easier way??? Thank you for your time and patience. |

i did loads of posters and leaflets with Photoshop, you dont really need InDesign for that. Just remember to work at 300dpi and to keep a safe area around your leaflet with no text or important info. Generally i keep 5mm empty all around the leaflet. This is to prevent your text to be cut to be too close to the edge when the leaflets are being cutted. |

If you want borderless leaflet - make sure you have 5mm (or more) bleed. I highly suggest to use layout programs such as quark, illustrator, coreldraw, indesign. They're very popular in print industry and many graphic designers using them. Photoshop is modify the image and import it into layout program. doudoucorp, you're using photoshop alot for print but the text is still not very crispy. |

looking at the example, use photoshop, make sure the dpi is set to 300 and give it 3mm bleed. Don't look at Quark or InDesign for the sake of a single sided leaflet, you'd have to create the graphics in something like photoshop anyway. |
