quark questions

right, up and till now ive been busking print jobs using illustrator - which is bad news when it comes to things like 20 page A4 brochures etc, so moving over to quark (i know i should use InDesign, but just landed a new job where they use Quark)...

couple of questions...

say i have a 4 page booklet, in illustrator, i'd set up 2 docs, both A3, the first doc being the back side on the left, the front on the right... the second doc page 1 on left, and page 2 on right... obviously this is a gay way of doing things :-)

so in quark, would i just have 4 A4 pages and work on them independantly, or again would i set up 2 A3 docs...

or shall i just do it however and let the printers sort it all out

also... say im doing an oversized A4 folder with a flap, in quark, do i just set up a 1 large page (enough for 2 A4 sides, capacitors and flap) - and overlay a cutter guide in a layer imported from illustrator?

ahhhhh print :-)

Set up the page how it would be printed, if would be better if you set them as 2 A3 docs as it means less hassle for your printer. I made a folder/slipcase a while ago, I set up the doc so it would fit the whole folder and then marked the areas to be diecut.

It all depends on binding as well, you can get them bound as single sheets or dps. You need to create a mock-up first, then you will understand the page running order.
