second camera

Is it worth it?

I feel I want a small camera I can take everywhere for easy point and click photography, rather then lugging a giant camera bag everywhere with me.

Have been looking at Nikon coolpix on ebay for £60, is it worth it or will be be a month fad?

Anybody got an experience with trying it?

I've had a Nikon Coolpix 3100 for about 2 years and have never had any problems with it. It's certainly small enough to carry around with you and has sufficient features to make it a worthwhile buy. Especially for 60 quid... paid 370 for mine.

Paid around $270 for my Coolpix 4100. They're good - not the best, but they're perfect for point and shoot.
